Kodak Cineon - Digital Motion Picture Film Development Project
The Cineon project involved the development of processors, technology & standards for the application of digital technology for film special effects, colour grading & editing.
The Cineon project received an Oscar for “Scientific and Engineering” in 2005, for being recognised as the founding technology that allowed digital technology to by used in film making.
James Gardiner, a ddSign founder, was part of the Kodak team that developed Cineon. His knowledge & experience continues to assist the company’s developments & client projects.
