The Victorian TAB (now known as TabCorp) developed the worlds first state wide, monitored gaming network (gaming machines are also known as Pokies).
One of the core developments for this network was a computer based, networked, gaming machine, the Player Activated Terminal (the PAT).
ddSign's director, Martin Gardiner was one of the 'wiz kid' designers of the system.
Over 8,000 PAT units were deployed.
